STORY
Pitmaster Nick Davis began his BBQ journey in 2016 by cooking for his Fire Department's annual banquet from there he decided to enter a local BBQ contest. What was just a crazy idea then became his passion and after several years on the KCBS (Kansas City BBQ) professional competition circuit in which he won numerous Grand Championships, First Place category finishes, competed in 100+ contests in 13 states. Winning awards at the biggest stages in BBQ including the KCBS World Invitational & the American Royal World Series of BBQ (Twice!!). In 2022 he decided to bring his style of BBQ to the public and opened Double Barrel BBQ. Combining his passion for cooking he got from his mother, love for BBQ that he got from his father and his unrivaled dedication to his craft which he got from his sister. We source only the highest quality ingredients and pride ourselves on making all of our sides from scratch every day.
